Duke of Edinburgh

We are thrilled to be offering the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) thanks to the generous support of The Tweed Family Charitable Trust.

Those taking part will develop the skills needed to become more confident adults. The award also supports the skills that colleges, universities and employers like to see. To take part, the participant needs to be aged 13-24, and in year 9 or above.

The DofE Award can take 6 – 12 months or more to complete but is designed around the young person.

To gain the full award, participants must complete the four sections (Gold participants need to complete a fifth section):

Volunteering
Skills
Physical
Expedition
Residential (Gold only participants)
