Fun and Games

Thursday of half-term saw several families get together to play games together and have fun. Parents learnt different ways of helping their child's language development whilst playing games together.

Here is what some of the participants said about the workshop:

"Great to see a selection of new games and have ideas about how top play games 'differently'"

"Being reminded about the importance of expanding language was really useful"

"I was helpful to think about the language I use with my child - and thinking about how to challenge him so that he learns more"

"A well run workshop with a mixture of activities for everyone"

"I really enjoyed being with other deaf children and having my sister there too"

"I liked playing with the other children. My favourite game was the pop-up Pirate game"

"I specifically learnt about expanding the vocabulary that I use with my child.

"Brilliant workshop - please do more!"
