Family Quiz Night!

Come camping with us @ Phasels Wood!

We're going camping and we'd like you to come! We've booked the Jubilee Hut for the weekend so we can hang out there, and we're going to camp next to it and have lots of fun!

Extra Details & Information - Please Read

Dates: Saturday 24th Oct and Sunday 25th Oct
Arrival on Saturday: 10 am arrival on Saturday. (If you have difficulties with transport please let us know. there may be the possibility of lift share with someone else, or we could organise transport for you)
Sleeping arrangements: It's overnight camping. You will need to bring a tent (you can share) and sleeping stuff. We have cooking and washing facilities in the Jubilee Hut which will be our base. Please note - no mixed sex sharing of tents. If there are difficulties working out who to share a tent with, please let us know and we will help sort it out.
If the weather is awful we will make extensive use of the Jubilee hut, but please ensure that you bring good wet weather gear and change of clothing.
Pick Up on Sunday: pick up at 2.30 pm. As this is slightly later than our original estimation, please let us know if this will cause you any problems

What to bring:

Sleeping - tent, mat, bedding, torch. (If you need a tent let us know). Please check the torch works! (all key areas on the site are well-lit)
Eating: own plate, bowl, cup/mug, cutlery.
Washing: washing things including towels
Clothing: warm clothing (layers are a good way of keeping warm), wet weather gear, trainers, boots for outside activities, change(s) of clothing ( and anything else they want - within reason) Please label stuff if you can - thanks.
Money: not necessary although there are vending machines on site.
Helmets: could cochlear implant users please bring a fitted bike helmet in case they need to wear it for a couple of the activities. It can stay in their tent until required.
additional notes: don't bring no valuables. Bring a Packed lunch for Saturday

Meal plans:
Breakfast (Sunday): cereal (Rice Crispies and cornflakes, sugar, milk), toast, jam and marmalade, marmite. Probably also a cooked breakfast (bacon, eggs etc.)
Lunch (Sunday): sandwiches - cheese, ham, marmite, salad. Fruit
Dinner (Saturday): Jacket potatoes, fillings: cheese, tuna, sweetcorn, baked beans. Happy to have other (easy!) suggestions. Fruit.
Snacks: water, juice, biscuits
Drinks: tea, coffee, hot chocolate
Please let us know of any allergies.
